In 2016 Pokemon Go took the world by storm. And IKEA, like many brands, wanted to get in on the action.

BRIEF

Come up with a Pokemon Go themed Instagram post.

IDEA

The Strandmon footstool, an appropriately named IKEA product, evolves in nostalgic animation style, into a bigger and better version of itself; The Strandmon armchair.

RESULT

We  reached a captive audience, delivering an inside joke to those who would appreciate it most. And presented IKEA as relevant and up-to-date with social trends.
